Maria Brink

 Maria Brink, born December 18 1977 was an American artist and singer. She is most well-known for being the frontwoman of In This Moment. The group has released seven albums and received four nominations from the Alternative Press Music Awards. Additionally, Brink was named "Rock Goddess of the Year" and "Hottest Chick" in Metal in the fifth (2013) and fifth (2015) Annual Loudwire Music Awards. She was also one of 11 women in metal who matter to Yell! Revolver Magazine named Brink one of the "25 Hottest Girls in Hard Rock & Metal" in 2012. When she was just 25 years old when she left for Los Angeles to search for the perfect band. She worked in shops, sang in bars, and also was a singer in coffee shops. In 2004, she was introduced to band members Chris Howorth at an audition.At first, Howorth rebuked Brink due to her gender. Then, two weeks later Howorth apologized and then hired Brink as a singer. They formed the band Dying Star with drummer Jeff Fabb .They were later joined by guitarist Blake Bunzel and bassist Josh Newell. The band was soon renamed In This Moment.
