Regina Marie "Jenna" Fischer[1[1] (born 7 March 1974)[22 American actress who is best known for her performance as Pam Beesly on the NBC sitcom The Office (2005-2013), for which she was nominated for the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in the field of Comedy Series in 2007. Her husband Lee Kirk directed the film that Fischer also produced. Rhonda McNeil was also part of the NBC comedy-drama You, Me and the Apocalypse. Fischer also starred on the ABC sitcom Splitting Up Together (2018)-2019. Fischer is currently the co-host of the podcast Office Ladies.Fischer's first book, The Actor's Life: A Survival Guide released in November 2017, Fischer was born in Fort Wayne in Indiana and raised in St. Louis in Missouri. [4][5] Her mother, Anne (nee Miller) is a history teacher and her father, James E. Fischer, is engineer. Sixteen year old sister Emily, who is a teacher in the third grade is her father. [7] At six years young, she appeared in her first stage performance. She was in an acting course taught by her mother at Henry School in St. Louis. The workshop was also instructed by Sean Gunn. She later went to Pierremont Elementary School in Manchester, Missouri, and Nerinx Hall High School, an all-girls, private Catholic school in Webster Groves, Missouri.
