Emily Bett Rickards born July 24, 1991, is an Canadian actress who is famous for playing Felicity Smoak in The CW television series Arrow. Rickards, who was raised in British Columbia, is Canadian. In her early years, she began her professional career with musical theater. She then moved on to dancing. Later, she hoped to get into professional acting. Her high school graduation was earlier and enrolled in the Vancouver Film School, completing the Acting Essentials program. She auditioned at an open audition after having completed her course. The audition was the catalyst for her getting hired with an agent. Alida Vocal Studio taught her. She began as an one-episode special guest but, due to the positive response from viewers as well as her humorous comedy, she was signed for a second season as regular.
