Kelly Clarkson, an American singer-songwriter and actress who won the American Idol competition in its initial season. She was America's Sweetheart. The victory not only propelled her to fame and acclaim, but it also earned her a multi-album record deal in partnership with RCA Records 19 Recordings and 'S Records. In the years since her debut her album, she's released several albums. From those, three made it to the top of the US Billboard 200. The others were near the top. Her name is regarded as one of the most successful American Idol artists. After achieving success, she tried out different genres and themes, frequently co-writing her songs in accordance of her own feelings. To acknowledge her talents and uniqueness, she has received a lot of praise and accolades. Most notably she has won the Grammy Award three times. Her music career is not her only occupation. She also appears in TV and movies. She also wrote the book for children River Rose and the Magical Lullaby as well as been a part of numerous charities.
