Taylor
Taylor Swift has become a uncommon pop sensation: a superstar who crossed over completely from traditional country music to popular culture, becoming a pop icon which will be around forever, and winning the hearts of millions throughout the world. Swift left her country roots as if they were just a second skin, revealing she could be the most popular singer and songwriter of her age someone who was able to harness popular culture and turn it into something personal and equally impressively do in the opposite direction. Swift's early tracks including the neotribute in tribute to Tim McGraw were a testament to her talents. However, her second album Fearless from 2008 showed an artist who found her voice and a wider crowd. Fearless was able to have significant performances not just in U.S. where it racked 6 platinum singles off the back of Top Ten hits Love Story and the hit single You Belong with Me but throughout the world performing particularly well within Canada, the U.K. Canada and Australia. Swift managed to build upon her success with Speak Now almost two year following. The singer-songwriter gained a lot of attention over the course of her three follow-up albums: Red (2012), 1989 (2014) and Reputation (2017) in addition to Reputation (2017), and had established herself in the genre she was a part of. Her music remained on top of pop even when she refocused her music with her sibling albums folklore in the year 2020, and Evermore.
